Proposed Use: State and Civil Flag
This flag reflects the natural environment of Tasmania, one of the most striking features of the state. The green represents the state's abundant forests, blue represents the waterways and surrounding ocean. In the centre of the flag is the current state badge, a red lion passant, maintaining the link with the present flag.
